Here I am the ghost from your past, well that's the way it seems 'cause you see right through me like I'm not even there, how do I make you aware of my presence? 'Cause it just doesn't make any sense that I'm now transparent to you when I was your first true love.

You're just a picture in a frame, you're just a sweet and tender name that's engraved well within my heart always, you're just a number I once called, yours is a heart that I once sold, you're the only one I told myself I'd be with 'til I grew old. I didn't tolerate heartache just to have us come to this, oh how I miss the way you used to insist our endless happiness.

Your current actions contradict the passionate things you used to say all throughout our yesterdays. Just a face in the crowd, someone you can live without, that's the status I now bear 'cause you've deprived me of your care, life stole you away from me somehow. You used to be so real but now

You're just a picture in a frame, you're just a sweet and tender name that's engraved well within my heart always, you're just a number I once called, yours is a heart that I once sold, you're the only one I told myself I'd be with 'til I grew old. I didn't tolerate heartache just to have us come to this, oh how I miss the way you used to insist our endless happiness...
